There are lots of maps and other informational items that previously resided in the museum basement. In the last few years we have made some progress in getting these preserved and on display upstairs. Some are in particularly bad condition, but this Bybee map transitioned to display quality reasonably well.
Repairs on the outhouse are complete and it looks so much better. The roof and back were totally destroyed during a bad wind storm, but thanks to Hagen Tubbs working on it as his Eagle Scout project, it will be in great shape for many years to come.
Stop in and see the Valentine's Day display, created by Ashley Haycock, our museum specialist, artist extraordinaire, creative advisor, curator, and all around nice person. We are very lucky to have her! (She's a little humble so don't say you read it here.)
