![]() Fun day with Karen Hirai Olen on the 15th. Karen went to the Union School as her family farmed in the area. She was born in the Minidoka Relocation Camp, but the family was released before she was two years old, so she doesn't have a lot of actual memories of the camp. Her parents didn't speak about much, at least to the children, so Karen and her siblings were insulated from much of the experience.

Stop by at 1 o'clock to hear Jim Gentry's Overview of Twin Falls in the 1930's to the 1950's. Jim is always a popular speaker and typically the lectures are well attended, but we do have more chairs now and plenty of parking out back. Admission is free and open to the public, but please don't be late! Due to museum visitors arriving during lecture times we will not be open until after the program.
Shawn Willsey's geological presentation was very interesting and always fun. Many thanks to everyone that came out and we do have some of his books for sale at the museum.
